Tacky Phrase Gone Wild!

Perhaps more surprising is the continuing popularity of headlines built on the tiresome “Girls Gone Wild” theme. In just the past year, all these people and things have gone wild in Times headlines:

Fish
Girls in Idaho
Grain
Governors
Salem Girls
Geezers
Banks
Guys
Water Parks

Especially given its low-rent origins, I think this one could be permanently banished from our pages.
